Great question Cody. I don't know if monkeys can actually be trained to talk, but I have seen evidence of a talking gorilla. In the movie "Congo", a Silverback Gorilla named Amy was trained in sign language. The scientists working with her then developed a software application using a glove that translated her sign language into English. It was truly amazing, and her ability to speak actually came into play later in the movie when the humans were under attack by some mean gorillas. I think she said something like, "Hey, look out for those gorillas!"

Is it actually possible to TEACH a monkey how to talk?
If so how would one do this?
Please take this into consideration.
